Welcome to Protrain K-9 Academy. My name is Chris Needles, I have lived in Chico most of my life and attended local schools. Over the years I have learned many construction trades but my heart has always been working with dogs. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, training dogs in Northern California for over 15 years. I graduated from National K-9 School for Dog Trainers in 1993. I have been training dogs full time ever since. My education has been enhanced through classes, seminars and clinics over the years. I specialize in all phases of dog obedience, training the 24 hour dog not for showing but for life. My method is Positive Reinforcement with Praise as the reward. I am a family man myself, my wife and kids work with our own dogs and help with the board and train dogs as well. We encourage all members of your family, children included, to participate with the training. We would like to make the training experience for you and your pet a positive one.
